Parent Teacher Committee(PTC)

Parent Teacher Committee (PTC) is constituted to promote a sense of partnership between parents and teachers for the benefit of the students. This committee support the college, teachers and encourage parent involvement in the activities of the institution. PTC meetings are conducted periodically to evaluate the effectiveness of the academic activities of the students. After internal examinations, the parents are appraised about the progress of their wards through PTC meetings. To derive maximum benefit from the Teaching-Learning process and for all-round development of a student entering into first degree course, PTC is playing a vital role in imparting quality education in colleges. It is a living organization where all the parents and teachers have to participate on equal footings. In general meeting parents are nominated as members of PTC. Along with other members, the committee is headed by the Principal as chairperson.

Objectives:
  • To promote welfare of students and youth in the home, the college and the community.
  • To create better understanding between parents and teachers and harmonious relationship between the college and the community.
  • To create the necessary consciousness among parents to stimulate their interest in their children and the college.
  • To work for the improvement of the college with the united efforts of parents, teachers and college authorities.
  • To help parents and students to adopt themselves to the changing concepts of society.
