INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL
The College has an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) established in April 2014. The role of IQAC is to develop a system for improvement in education and administrative performances of the college. It is an internal mechanism for sustenance, assurance and enhancement of the quality education imparted by the college. The college allotted an office and has a fulltime coordinator for smooth functioning of the cell. The cell meets frequently to plan and evaluate the progress of every activity.
Vision:
The IQAC vision is to ensure quality culture as the prime concern for the Higher Education institutionalizing and internalizing all the initiatives taken with internal and external support.
Objectives:
The primary aim and objective of IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution. And to promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
Formation and Activities of the IQAC:
The IQAC of Jaintia Eastern College has been established in the year 2014 for developing quality enhancement and its maintenance.The IQAC has been constituted with distinguished academicians drawn from within the College and administrative staff and from distinguished educationists and also from representatives of local management and stakeholders.
